Boston on Tour This Summer

Filed under: Boston, Classic Rock News — Real Rock News @ 6:43 am

June 6 is the date that makes the beginning of Boston’s summer tour. The classic rock group will be in Thunder Bay, Ontario at the outdoor festival at Marina Park.

Joining Boston for the tour will be two new additions to the line-up, tom-scholz including Michael Sweet, the former Stryper frontman who will be helping on vocals and guitar.

The other new member is Tommy DeCarlo who came to the attention of Boston by posting his Boston cover performances on his MySpace page. Tom Scholz was reportedly impressed with DeCarlo’s vocal ability and shocked to discover the similarities between DeCarlo’s voice and that of late Boston singer Brad Delp.

Boston’s summer tour schedule looks like it will be comprised of about 40 shows in locations in the U.S. and Canada.

The set list for the tour will include fan favorites from the groups five studio albums, including a few fan favorites that the group has not performed live for a number of years.
