Interview With Def Leppard’s Rick Allen
Rick Allen’s return as the drummer for Def Leppard after losing his arm in an auto accident is one of those amazing stories that speaks volumes about the human spirit. I recall hearing about it back in 1984 when the accident occurred, and I just figured that his career was over. Come on! A drummer that lost an arm?
But after a couple of years he returned and proved that he still has it. In this interview, Allen talks about a lot of different things. Among them, how he dealt with returning to the band after his accident, his Raven Drum Foundation and a little bit about some of the little everyday problems he has to deal with like taking his dog to groomer.
