Led Zeppelin Rocks The O2 Tomorrow

One of the most anticipated concert events in rock history is less 24 hours away. Led Zeppelin appears ready to steal the show tomorrow at the event that was organized to honor late Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun.

In a new Rolling Stone interview, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Jason Bonham share their thoughts about the Led Zeppelin of the past and the Led Zeppelin of the present.

No mention of the Led Zeppelin of the future, but that’s something that’s clearly on a lot of folk’s minds these days with all the rumors of tours and new albums over the last few weeks.

Perhaps the most interesting quote from the interview was from Robert plant, who was asked whether there was en expectation that the performance at the O2 Show will rise up to the Led Zeppelin of the past.

Plant replied, “I’ve heard it in that [rehearsal] room. I’ve heard those guys playing. They’ve done it. It’s already there.”

Another interesting tidbit from Page comes by way of Q Magazine, who quoted him as saying: “I’ve got things I’ve been working on for the past four years that I’m proud of. Some of the songs I’ve got ready are as good as anything I’ve done in the past. I wouldn’t necessarily save them for my solo career.”

Now what are we all supposed to think of that? I wonder.

New Jeep ‘Zep Mobile’

Now we’ve probably all heard of the Bat Mobile, right? Are you ready for the Zep Mobile?

I’m no automobile historian, but this is the first time I can recall hearing about one being offered with a rock group theme.

For £34,860 (I little less than $70,000), this new Zep Mobile will be equipped with the 2.0 CRD Sport editions, air-conditioning, cruise control, two-tone leather, privacy glass, six-speed manual gearbox, remote central locking, 4x electric windows and a premium sound system.

By the way, it also comes with 2 tickets to the O2 Show, so if you missed out on getting tickets to the show and you need a pricey new SUV, I suggest you get out and pick one up for yourself today.
