Bon Jovi Guitarist Shells Out Record Price For Philadelphia Condo

With the real estate market in a bit of a slump recently, it’s kind of surprising to get word that Richie Sambora of Bon Jovi has just purchased a new condo in Philadelphia and paid a record price for it. Perhaps the market in Philly is a bit Richie Sambora's New Digs healthier than in other cities.

Sambora paid $1,377 per square foot for the place, which in this particular case, works out to a total of $3.58 million. The condo is on the 52nd floor of The Residences at Two Liberty Place, an 848-foot tower, which holds the current record for the city’s tallest residential building.

Sambora’s new 2,600-square-foot unit has three bedrooms, and is Sambora’s first home in the city. Originally from Woodbridge, New Jersey, Sambora certainly seems happy to have landed himself a place in The City of Brotherly Love, saying that he was “…so excited to finally have a home in Philadelphia.”

Sambora also owns homes in Los Angeles and Laguna Beach. Although Sambora’s condo sounds pretty nice (and it ought to be for $3.58 million), the largest units in the building are around 12,000 square feet, which would even make for a very roomy single-family home. Now that’s living in style!
