Another Def Leppard Interview: Joe Elliot
— July 27, 2007 1 23Today’s talkative Def Leppard band member is Joe Elliot. Seems like another Def Leppard interview pops up somewhere every other week. Can’t knock them for failing to keep their fans informed I suppose.
There is, as one would expect, some talk of the new album that is expected next year. Songs From The Sparkle Lounge, as the album is called, was written by the band as they were on the road and despite their lack of success writing on the road previously, Elliott reports that it all worked out really well.
Most of the interview is about the new album, but there is some talk about how the deal to do the current tour with Styx and Foreigner came together and how the band feels about sharing the stage with those groups as well as with Journey last year.

Awesome. I’ve loved Def Leppard for so long now, I like the fact that they still put out albums and tour. I just bought my ticket for the 27th. Can’t wait.
