Classic Rockers Nominated For Grammy Awards
On February 10, 2008, the Grammy Awards will air on CBS and we are now finding out which of our favorite classic rock artists have been nominated for a Grammy Award.
Nominated for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals are Bon Jovi for "(You Want To) Make A Memory" along with Irish rockers U2 for "Window In The Skies."
Nominated for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals is Robert Plant and Allison Krauss for "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)."
Nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album is Bon Jovi for "Lost Highway."
Nominated for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance are Bruce Springsteen for "Radio Nowhere" and John Mellencamp for "Our Country."
Nominated for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals is U2 for "Instant Karma."
Nominated for Best Hard Rock Performance is Ozzy Osbourne for "I Don’t Wanna Stop."
Nominated for Best Rock Instrumental Performance are Rush for "Malignant Narcissism" and Bruce Springsteen for "Once Upon A Time In The West."
Nominated for Best Rock Song is Bruce Springsteen for "Radio Nowhere."
Nominated for Best Rock Album is Bruce Springsteen for "Magic."
Looks like "The Boss" is in the best position to be the year’s big classic rock Grammy winner. Nice to see Rush on the list as well.
