Yes North American Tour Plans Confirmed
— March 21, 2008 0 30Another big classic rock tour will hit the road this summer when Yes takes their show out in front of fans in 26 venues to celebrate the group’s 40 year history of progressive rock.
Frontman Jon Anderson will be joined on stage by Chris Squire on bass, Steve Howe on guitar, Alan White on drums and Oliver Wakeman on keyboards. Wakeman is the son of Rick Wakeman who was part of the Yes lineup previously but decided to sit this one out due to medical reasons.
In addition to the tour, there is also talk about a live album to commemorate the band’s 40th anniversary. Details are not yet available, but the album could possibly be released this summer.
The tour begins on July 12 at the Quebec City Festival in Canada and ends with a performance at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles.
