The tribute to late Boston Singer Brad Delp is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tomorrow at The Bank of America Pavilion.

There are recent articles in both the Boston Herald and Boston Globe that Boston fans might want to check out. The Globe story talks about the recent release of some e-mail messages that Delp and Tom Scholz had exchanged at the beginning of the year and how the messages seemed to cast doubt on some speculation that Delp’s suicide may have been prompted, in part, by trouble between the two.

Both newspapers report that a summer tour as well as a new CD was planned for Boston and that Delp and Scholz exchanged e-mail messages concerning Delp’s desire to take a few days away from the tour to get married.

From all accounts, Brad Delp was a great guy and I am sure he is greatly missed by family, friends and fans.

I have no plans to attend the tribute but I hope it all goes off without a hitch and turns out to be an event that Brad Delp would have approved of.
