Rare Classic Rock Footage To Be Released
Held captive on obsolete Super 8 and Betamax film formats for years, archival footage of some of classic rock’s best-known names will be available to fans by the end of the year.
Plans are in motion by Rockworld.TV to transfer and remaster the historic footage on more modern equipment for consumption by classic rock fans.
Among the artists featured on this footage are The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Aerosmith and The Grateful Dead.
According to Rockworld.TV’s Pete Hadfield, much of the footage has rarely, if ever, been available to the public.
Rockworld.TV has plans to make the footage available for broadcast sometime later this year.

Did this ever get put into place I know its an old article but would love to see some early/rare footage of aerosmith. The earliest footage of them on the web is midnight special 1974 but they formed in 1970 a good four years of concerts/gigs but no footage 🙁
