Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame has made plans for a small number of U.S. appearances this spring. Starting with the Coachella Festival in image California on April 27th and then moving on to Denver on the 30th, Dallas on May 2nd and Houston on May 4th.

Waters will be performing his Dark Side of The Moon show for fans which has received a lot of positive press and has to be a real treat for Pink Floyd fans old enough to remember the album’s release all those years ago. It’s certainly one that stands out prominently in my memory.

In other Pink Floyd news that may be of particular interest to guitar players around the world, Guitar & Bass Magazine’s March issue has a feature on Phil Taylor, who happens to be David Gilmour’s guitar tech.

Gilmour’s black Fender Stratocaster is the focus of much of the article’s content and a detailed rundown of the instruments history is provided as well as some talk about the possibility of a David Gilmour signature Stratocaster from Fender in the future.

Guitar and Bass Magazine is a publication from the United Kingdom and more information can be obtained on their web site.

Thanks to Brain Damage for the heads up on the Gilmour story.
