I just finished listening to a recent interview with Alex Lifeson that was conducted by Detroit rock radio station WRIF. He talks a bit about the new R30 DVD and how the band works together.

The most interesting news, however, is that the band is planning to go back into the studio in early 2006 to work on a new album. He goes on to say that they hope to have the new album completed by the summer and then hit the road for a tour around this time next year.

I’ve heard some rumors about the band returning to the studio next year, so it is nice to hear this confirmed. I will, of course, be following any news that comes along and will post it here.
