‘Signature’ Fender Strat Lost In The Mail

0 13

A Fender Stratocaster guitar made famous by bearing the signatures of famous guitarists has been lost in the mail, or, as our friends in England where the instrument was lost, would say, "lost in the post."

The now-famous Strat was signed by the likes of Jimmy Page, Bill Wyman, Pete Townshend and Brian May, and was destined to raise an estimated £20,000 (about $40,640) for Rainbows Children’s Hospice.

Music promoter Dave Allen had been collecting the signature on the missing guitar for over a year and is understandably upset by this turn of events.

An courier service going by the name of Parcelforce, seems to have lost the instrument and has been unable to locate it. Apparently, when it comes to delivering a very expensive and important item, they really are not much of a "force" at all.
