Stones Guitarist Possibly Facing Expensive Divorce
U.K. papers are now reporting that Jo Wood, wife of Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood, has enlisted the services of her attorneys as a result of his on-going affair with 20-year-old Ekaterina Ivanova. It’s certainly not a stretch to speculate about a possible divorce once the lawyers begin to get involved.
It may have been the recent photograph of Wood enjoying a romantic dinner with Ivanova that pushed his wife to contact her legal team. “Jo has had enough of his behaviour. She feels humiliated, spurned and furious that her best friend has treated her like that,” a friend reported.
The good news for Jo Wood is that her legal team is said to have informed her that she is in a very good position, and stands to benefit from a potential divorce settlement that could be in the $90 million range.
There seems to be little doubt that wife Jo has dedicated considerable time and energy in her support of her husband of 23-years, and has joined the Rolling Stones on every tour, and made sure Wood was well-fed and well-dressed. She was also responsible for handling the couple’s finances.
Despite the signs that are currently pointing to a divorce in the works, Jo Wood says she would still like to remain friends with her husband, and still cares for him despite all the recent problems.
Having given so much support to her husband through the years, it certainly seems like her legal team could be quite right about her chances of being on the receiving end of a very large settlement. That certainly won’t make Ron Wood a pauper by anyone’s standards, but $90 million is sure to make a noticeable dent in his savings account.

Ron Wood Rooming With Pete Townshend?
The British papers are buzzing with news that Rolling Stone guitarist Ron Wood has left rehab, and has been offered a place to stay by none other than Pete Townshend of The Who. Wood has reportedly left rehab where he had been battling his problems with alcohol.
Meanwhile, Wood’s Wife, Jo, was spotted out on the town with Mick Jagger’s ex, Jerry Hall. They attended the GQ Awards together, and it was reported that Jo was determined to forget her troubles for a while and have some fun.
I suppose being married to a rock star surely has its down side, as both Jo Wood and Jerry Hall know all too well. It was Mick Jagger’s repeated episodes of infidelity that allegedly led to his split with Hall in 1999.
There were recent reports that Jo Wood had planned to move to the U.S. and try to put her life back together, but so far she has remained in the U.K. and there has been no further word on a move.
Amid these tales of infidelity involving the Rolling Stones, it is interesting to note that a brand-new study was concluded recently that claims a man’s proclivity to stray is influenced by genetics.
News of this study certainly comes at an opportune time for Ron Wood, but whether or not his alleged affair with young Ekaterina Ivanova had more to do with genes or being a rock star who had fallen off the wagon is something that he’ll have to reconcile with wife Jo if he wants to save his marriage.

Ronnie Wood’s Wife Leaves Him And Is Bound For The U.S.A.
Recent reports say that Ronnie Wood’s wife Jo has decided to give up on their marriage, and is planning a move to the United States where she will work at promoting her brother’s art work. Her brother, Paul Karslake, is a creator of pricey artwork that sister Jo hopes she can convince wealthy Americans to purchase.
Jo’s reunion hopes were apparently dashed when she realized that husband Ron’s fling with Ekaterina Ivanova wasn’t just the brief, alcohol-fueled affair she had assumed it was. Wood was quoted not long ago saying that he loved both Ivanova and his wife, and was having a very difficult time deciding which one he wanted to be with. Apparently, wife Jo is planning to help him with that decision.
As The Sun in the U.K. has stated, "Come on Ron, sort your head out and get back with the missus. The young lass is only after your money."
That’s an argument I find hard to disagree with. For heaven’s sake, Ron Wood isn’t exactly Jon Bon Jovi, who is actually getting a bit advanced in years for someone like Ekaterina Ivanova himself. Young Ekaterina certainly cannot be pursuing Wood for his good looks, although I know some could argue that age is just a number, or that perhaps they have found a true a "soul mate" in each other. Yeah, right.
In this case, I think The Sun is spot on, as they say in the U.K. Ron Wood should return to his wife and patch up a marriage that has lasted longer than most other celebrity unions. Although it may be hard to compete with a sweet young thing like Ekaterina Ivanova, from what I have seen, former model Jo Wood isn’t too tough on the eyes herself.
