Ron Wood Rooming With Pete Townshend?
The British papers are buzzing with news that Rolling Stone guitarist Ron Wood has left rehab, and has been offered a place to stay by none other than Pete Townshend of The Who. Wood has reportedly left rehab where he had been battling his problems with alcohol.
Meanwhile, Wood’s Wife, Jo, was spotted out on the town with Mick Jagger’s ex, Jerry Hall. They attended the GQ Awards together, and it was reported that Jo was determined to forget her troubles for a while and have some fun.
I suppose being married to a rock star surely has its down side, as both Jo Wood and Jerry Hall know all too well. It was Mick Jagger’s repeated episodes of infidelity that allegedly led to his split with Hall in 1999.
There were recent reports that Jo Wood had planned to move to the U.S. and try to put her life back together, but so far she has remained in the U.K. and there has been no further word on a move.
Amid these tales of infidelity involving the Rolling Stones, it is interesting to note that a brand-new study was concluded recently that claims a man’s proclivity to stray is influenced by genetics.
News of this study certainly comes at an opportune time for Ron Wood, but whether or not his alleged affair with young Ekaterina Ivanova had more to do with genes or being a rock star who had fallen off the wagon is something that he’ll have to reconcile with wife Jo if he wants to save his marriage.

Torn Between Two Lovers: Ron Wood Can’t Seem To Make Up His Mind
Recent word suggested that Rolling Stone Ron Wood was banned from contact with both his wife and his alleged girlfriend, 18, 19 or 20-year-old (depending on which news source you read) Ekaterina Ivanova. Well into his 6-week stay in rehab, it was thought that talking with either his wife or girlfriend might not be the best thing for his rehabilitation.
Apparently, Wood has decided to flaunt the rules and arranged for a visit by his Russian girlfriend. Ivanova was
reportedly supplied with a car and a chauffeur in order to facilitate her visits to the 61-year-old rocker where the Wood was said to have introduced his new love interest to everyone as his girlfriend.
The couple was also said to have locked themselves in the library for a time during her visit before going outside to smoke a cigarette, after which Ivanova was driven back to her hotel. Wood’s probably picking up the tab for that as well.
Wood is apparently in the throes of quite a dilemma, and has proclaimed his love for both Ivanova and his 53-year-old wife of 23 years, Jo. He’s said to have told Joe that he loves both her and Ivanova and is not able to choose between them.
In addition to being treated for alcohol and drug addictions, Wood is also said to be receiving treatment for a sex addiction. I guess that helps explain the new girlfriend.
Wood’s stint in rehab is set to end in about two weeks, and he will likely be facing an ultimatum from one or both of his lovers. After 23 years with his wife, it’s unlikely that she’ll fade quietly into the background. I don’t know how divorce law works on the U.K, but of Paul McCartney’s nearly $50 million dollar settlement is any indication, Wood could be headed down the road towards putting a bit of a dent in his bank account.

Ron Wood Returns Home To Patch Up Marriage And Enter Rehab
In yet another, "Rock star enters rehab" story, this time we get word that Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones has decided to return home from his alleged love nest in Ireland in an effort to save his marriage and get a handle on his problems with alcohol by entering rehab.
There are various stories about what actually happened in Wood’s life recently, from a torrid affair with a 18-year-old (or 19 or 20-year old, depending on what story you read) Russian cocktail waitress, to a less exciting version of the story which claims that the waitress, Ekaterina Ivanova, was simply a model for Wood’s painting.
Apparently, it was Woods’ son Jesse who went to visit his dad in Ireland and may have convinced him that coming home to save his marriage was the right thing to do. Perhaps the phone calls from some of his Rolling Stones band mates as well as pal Rod Stewart had some influence on the 61-year-old guitarist’s decision to come home as well.
A spokesperson for Wood is quoted as saying: "Following Ronnie’s continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab. His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."

Steven Tyler Reveals Recent Rehab Involved Addiction
When Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler entered a rehabilitation facility recently, the reason that was released for public consumption was that he was there for physical therapy following foot surgery. As it turns out, his stint in rehab was a little more complicated than that.
Tyler has now admitted that he was an addicted to prescription medication. The 60-year-old rocker apparently became dependent on pain and sleep medication that was prescribed to help him deal with foot surgery.

With a history of drug and alcohol abuse, Tyler apparently recognized that he was headed in the wrong direction and wisely checked himself into rehab. He reportedly said that he "didn’t like the me that was me."
Tyler’s substance abuse during the 1970’s and 1980’s prompted him to enter rehab during 1986, which led to a successful comeback for the group.

Aerosmith’s Tyler Back on His Feet In Rehab
It’s certainly not unusual to hear about rock stars entering rehab, but recent news that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith had checked into rehab turned into a story that most people probably did not expect.
As it turns out, Tyler checked into a rehabilitation facility for physical
therapy following a series of foot surgeries. The need for surgery was reported to be a result of the energetic performer’s activities on stage.
Since the physical therapy that was required following the surgeries turned out to be more painful than he anticipated, Tyler decided that checking into a rehab facility would afford him the opportunity to "shut off my phone and get back on my feet."
For the sake of any fans that might be fearful that the legendary rocker might be slowing down or even planning to hang up his microphone, Tyler says, "Make no mistake," he said, "Aerosmith has no plans to stop rocking. There’s a new album to record, then another tour."
